Welcome

We are a community of believers, striving for growth through a committed relationship with Jesus Christ.

Circle City Church

In the Fall of 2021 a group of individuals came together with Pastor Mac & Pastor Leah with the goal of creating a ministry, community and a Worship Experience like no other! They began working to lay the foundation of what would become known Circle City Church. Nov 14 2021 marked the first gathering of families who were without church homes and considered Lady Leah as their Pastor. We gathered for weeks…spending our first Christmas together…having Team Nights where we heard the vision for our Community from our Pastors.

We began writing our own rules and decided that church didn’t have to be on Sundays alone, which resulted in our midweek pop up Worship Experiences. As the weeks and months went by our Community began to grow in numbers and our bonds began to grow stronger.

As the bonds between the members grew so did the strength of the community. We began learning each other’s stories as we spent more time together. Holidays, community meet ups outside of church and hearing Community Members testimonies from C3 Insiders all contributed to the strengthening of our Community.

After months of building, healing and worshipping together “underground” our community dropped the Underground Mixtape. We launched Circle City Church to the world! We were finally able to share the community we had all grown to love.

In the months to follow C3 has continued to cultivate a worship experience like no other. The language of the C3 Worship Experience is FREEDOM! We are free to be, free to worship, free to heal and free to grow. C3 provides community for the entire family. C3 Kids Zone, C3 Couples Nights, C3 Men’s Huddle have all become safe spaces for the entire family.

With all that God has done in this community, we’re thankful that we GET to do this! We’re not just a church, but we are dedicated to being your community that you get to do life with! We are #C3Strong

Who We Are and What We Believe

Circle City Church is a diverse collection of people ~ people who have grown up in different decades, in various religious traditions, and with a wide array of life experiences. But we have been bound together out of our common experience of the redeeming love of Jesus Christ.  Unity of the body is enriched as we stand together at the foot of the cross.  We are a gospel-centered family of believers seeking to grow in our worship of the One who saved us, in our ability to love each other in grace and truth, and in our effectiveness in sharing that love with those God brings into our lives.

“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.”
~ Ephesians 2:20 ~

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

  1. The Word of God. We believe all Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the verbally inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original writings, complete as the revelation of God’s will for salvation, and the supreme and final authority in all matters to which they speak.
  2. The Trinity. We believe in one God, Creator and Sustainer of all things, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; that these are equal in every divine perfection and that they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence, and redemption.
  3. God the Father. We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love.  We believe He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
  4. Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s eternal Son, and has precisely the same nature, attributes and perfections as God the Father and God the Holy Spirit.  We believe further that He is not only true God, but true man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.  We also believe in His sinless life, His substitutionary atonement, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension into heaven, His priestly intercession on behalf of His people, and His personal, visible, return from heaven.
  5. Holy Spirit. We believe in the Holy Spirit, His personhood, and His work in regeneration, sanctification, and preservation.   His ministry is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, to implement Christ’s work of redeeming the lost by convicting the world concerning sin, and to empower believers for godly living and service by guiding them into all spiritual truth.
  6. Man. We believe God created man, male and female, in the image of God and free from sin.  We further believe man is a sinner by nature and choice and is therefore spiritually dead.  We also believe that those who repent of sin and trust Jesus Christ as Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
  7. Salvation. We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.  We further believe that this salvation is based upon the sovereign grace of God, and was purchased by Christ on the cross, and is received by man through faith, apart from any human merit, works, or ritual. We further believe salvation results in righteous living and good works.
  8. The Church. We believe that the Church is the spiritual body of which Christ is the head. We believe that the true Church is composed of all persons who have saving faith in Jesus Christ and have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit.  We believe that this body expresses itself in local assemblies whose members have confessed faith in Jesus Christ and have associated themselves for worship, for instruction, for evangelism, and for service.  We believe the ordinances of this church are believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper.  We also believe in the interdependence of local churches and the mutual submission of believers to each other in love.
  9. Separation of Church and State. We believe that our church is and ought to be self-governing in function, and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority.  We further believe that every human being is directly responsible to God in matters of faith and life, and that each should be free to worship God according to the dictates of his conscience.
  10. Christian Conduct. We believe that the supreme task of every believer is to glorify God in his life; that his conduct should be blameless before the world; that he should be a faithful steward of his possessions; and that he should seek to realize for himself the full stature of maturity in Christ.
  11. Marriage. We believe God ordained marriage and the family as the foundational institution of human society, and that the only legitimate marriage is a sacred and permanent covenant relationship between one man and one woman, symbolizing the union of Christ and his Church.
  12. Last Things. We believe in the future return of Jesus Christ, the bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost, and the eternal existence of all people in heaven or hell, in divine judgments, rewards, and punishments.
